Dorothy is 96 years old. She had to produce 5(!) pieces of identification in order to be allowed to vote in Tennessee. This is part of the Republican war on voter rights.
Since 2011, over two dozen GOP controlled states have been playing politics with democracy, passing strict new Voter ID laws.
For example, in Tennessee, you have to produce 4 pieces of ID, but Dorothy was asked to produce 5. Including a marriage certificate… really? A marriage certificate?
