By now most of you have seen this picture of a young Mitt Romney pouring his heart out on a beautiful sunny beach, in France, around 1968. Looks quite idyllic, doesn’t it?
But while he was frolicking without a care the Vietnam war was raging on. A war that he supported, that he supported enough to demonstrate in favor of the draft. And yet, got a special ‘Mormon’ deferment from actually joining the millions of young American men who went to war, on his behalf.
As the child of an Air Force vet, I have no words to express how absolutely disgusted this makes me. But Lawrence O’Donnell can express it much better, so watch the following video and understand the character of this man aspiring to be the next President.
